Warehouse's new designer collection

Emma Sells | 06 Sep 2010

If you're a dedicated fashion fan who loves to know about the next big names before everyone else then pay attention. Warehouse is about to launch a brand new collection with a recent graduate - and we're been given the first look.

The high street store chose Daisy Craver of University of Westminster as the winner of its 2010 Design Talent competition.

We had a chat with Daisy, and we began by asking her what inspired the collection. She told us, 'I was thinking of ancient warrior women goddesses. It combines the two different sides of women, the strong and then the prettier sides.'

The result? A cool, edgy and mostly black collection that mixes studded trousers with printed chiffon dresses and that will channel your inner rock chick perfectly. Daisy told us, 'I always wanted to create a collection that I would like and wear. Lots of the students on my course would do things that were wacky and creative but I wanted to do something that was wearable.'

So now that she has a collection for Warehouse under her belt what does the future hold for Daisy Craver? 'I'd like to work over in New York. And to work for Acne - I love their clothes.'

The Daisy Craver collection will be available in selected Warehouse stores from 16 September, with prices ranging from £40-£300.
