Markus Lupfer

Markus is the creative director for Armand Basi and has been showing his womenswear collection at London Fashion Week for the past three seasons.

Markus graduated from westminster in 1997 and his final year collection was immediately sold to koh samui, and his own label Markus Lupfer, was born in December 1998.

He has become renowned for his use of print, experimentation with colours, exceptional knitwear and the intricate use of leather.

A regular on the London fashion week schedule until February 2003, Markus lupfer's attention to detail and ground-breaking use of fabric have captured the attention of many other brands and created opportunities for collaborations and consultancy projects alongside his own label, starting with topshop for whom Markus has produced a capsule collection since March 1999.

Markus Lupfer returned for spring/summer 04 with a pared down capsule collection, focusing solely on beautiful, feminine knitwear to re-launch his own-name label.
