Fashion Design course open days
Coming to one of our open days is a great opportunity to look around the fashion course, see our buildings and facilities, meet current fashion design students and staff, and find out important information about our teaching methods, student finances and career opportunities.
You will be able to look around the design studios, our specialist machine rooms, our print and dye rooms as well as our fashion resource room.
Additionally, you will see examples of current student work at all levels in the form of sketchbooks, final garments and portfolio work.
There are also presentations from the fashion design team on all aspects of the course including our work placement scheme and our industry projects where you can ask any questions that you want answered regarding the course.
All Open Days last approximately two hours and pre-booking your place is essential.
The Fashion Design course has a number of bespoke Open Days separate from the University-wide Open Days so that you get a more intimate feel for the course and you can find out more about its structure and the possibilities of studying with us here.
We also strongly recommend that not only do you attend an Open Day at Westminster, but that you also visit other fashion courses with a similar reputation as us, so that you have fully compared our course and facilities with those of our competitors.
We feel that it is important that when you make your decision as to which fashion course is right for you, that you have carried out as much proactive research as possible and therefore are sure that your choice is the right one for you.
Dates of our next Open Days in 2012 are as follows:
Thursday 12 January, 2pm
Thursday 19 January, 2pm
We will be taking bookings for places on our open days from September 2011.
