Four of the latest fashion design graduates from Westminster have been selected by the Council of Fashion Designers of America as the next generation of fashion designers globally.
CFDA+ is a curated platform to spotlight exemplary graduating talent. Selected CFDA+ 2017 Design Graduates receive a one-year profile-based showcase on CFDA.com. CFDA+ profiles are visible to the CFDA Membership community of 500+ leading American designers. Additionally, the CFDA is honored to continue its collaboration with Floriane de Saint Pierre’s Paris-based Eyes on Talents, which will generously spotlight CFDA+ and provide the talent with unique global exposure.
In 2013, the Council of Fashion Designers of America identified a need to connect global graduating talent to our membership and created CFDA+ with the goal to provide visibility to creative capital from around the world. Since then, CFDA Education + Professional Development has reviewed more than 1000 portfolios, interviewed more than 600 recent graduates from 43 leading schools from 32 countries, and have spotlighted 245 graduates to a community of industry and education.
Through these dynamic conversations, we’ve been privileged to gain not only a window into each designer’s personal identity, design process, and ethos, but also a first access view of the future of fashion.
